Campus Pride is the leading national nonprofit organization dedicated to building future leaders and creating safer, more inclusive communities for LGBTQ+ people and allies at colleges and universities.

For the past 20 years, Campus Pride has worked to give LGBTQ+ students a voice and action in leadership, empowering them to make positive changes in society. And while a lot of progress has been made, there’s still a lot of work to do.

Around 6 out of 10 Gen Z students have been discriminated against in their place of work/study, so it’s no wonder the majority of LGBTQ+ students and graduates wished they knew more about whether an employer was LGBTQ+ inclusive or not.

Students have been telling us about the challenges of entering the job market for years. Beyond resume building and preparing for interviews, many queer students face a fundamental question: How can I find a company where I can be myself, where LGBTQ+ employees are fully embraced and supported?

That’s why we’ve spent more than $100,000 during the past year developing the Campus Pride Career Connect – a new, innovative career engagement portal that provides a safe space to create meaningful relationships between LGBTQ+ young adults and prospective employers.

We’re invested in helping LGBTQ+ people find mentors and get connected to employers who are truly committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. No one should have to hide who they are or who they love, and that’s especially true in college and in a career.
